The thing that had really been bothering me is tribute bands. More accurately, tribute bands that make some really good money of the bands that they are emulating. I went to a Led Zeppelin tribute about a month ago and I was really disappointed. Their guitar player was sub-par, granted he has some big shoes to fill but don't bill yourself as The Led Zeppelin Experience if you can't provide that experience. Especially to the die-hard fans that will pick you apart. After all, it's pretty much only the die-hards that will pay $50 to see them anyway! Some bands in my mind are untouchable in terms of tributes, Led Zep is one of them.
I have really started to listen to alot of Ryan Adams lately. This guy is so amazingly talented that he just blows me away. The album "Gold" is just that...gold. Every song on it is strong and the album from start to finish is fantastic. Just wanted to get that out."Easy Tiger" is getting better with every listen.

yeah, it's a weird thing tribute bands making money off of what they're pretending to be...but i guess that could apply to a lot of different things!
