Almost 35 years later, I can safely say I had GREAT taste for such a wee lad. I could watch her hold her arms over her head (at the :45 second mark) a million times over. Just absolutely gorgeous!!! that hair, those shoulder pads, would have given Sue Ellen a run for her money. Was such an innocent time in movie making. Still turn this song up when I hear it on the radio

Uhh, shoulder pads? Are they surgically implanted, because I see her in a dress with spaghetti straps.

It's a great song - but IMHO because it's written by Jeff Lynne. He released an ELO version on one of the box sets that came out, which I prefer to this. I've never seen the movie, but it looks friggin' AWFUL. She's cute, though and this does sound good.

haha i know, when i see alot of those movies from the early 80's there's nothing but pure nostalgia and guilty pleasures. this movie in it's madness and silliness is up there with kiss meets the phantom but you know for me it's a classic, of course i didnt really meant to comper Olivia to Jeff Lynn , i just saw the video and i just thought wow. and the shoulder pad thing was a thing i should have explained better i meant sue Ellen from dallas, since they were all in the same period.
