Given the kitsch appeal of The Partridge Family, I'm surprised this song isn't a little better-known. There are two anthologies of theirs on iTunes, and neither includes it. It's their best song, and although I don't really take them seriously, they still have three or four quite good ones.

I remember being a kid watching that show and wanting to be Laurie (Susan Dey) riding around from concert to concert in the bus

The track won't play for me - Susan Dey was on L.A. Law too, wasn't she?

Weird, Bart. It worked for me -- both on a Mac and a PC... There's a few seconds before the song starts, but not so many that I'd imagine it would throw you. Give it another try, maybe?

C'mon, get happy!
For all the kitschiness of the Partridges, I have to admit that their music was always fun. I'm willing to bet that they had some of the best song writers in the biz, much like the Monkees (Boyce & Hart, Neil Diamond, etc.).
