WHERE THE HOKEY POKEY "IS" WHAT IT'S ALL ABOUT

Muddy's man on piano, pretty much say's it all. A soft spoken man that followed Big Maceo in the Chicago Style. This was recorded in 1960 before Muddy Waters moved to the suburbs a few blocks from me.This photograph is of the rehearsal studio in the basement of Muddy Waters first house on the southside of Chicago. Otis was a painfully shy man with great talent and my favorite band member. Otis Spann, Willie Dixon, Little Walter, Junior Wells, Otis Rush, Fred Below, Buddy Guy ...and the man that put the big beat to the blues, Muddy Waters. Quite an experience for a no talent white kid.
