Wow, I just listened to Mike the Knife's Cannibal Corpse offering for Toxic Tuesday. This really cleanses the palate. Long live true musicianship.
Bliss. I love how easy and smooth it sounds and that drummer is just what I want on a Wednesday afternoon.
The smooth-as-silk drummer is Bill Stepney, bassist is blues giant Willie Dixon, and on the impressively understated guitar is Matt "Guitar" Murphy, who was featured in the first Blues Brothers movie. Hell of a player, though you don't really see that here.
