...bought this iTunes session EP thing off iTunes which is basically karen o and an acoustic guitar, so i guess one could call it an unplugged sesh.
cheated hearts is excellent, really kind of haunting in a way, also on there are turn into (which sounds great too) and gold lion (ditto) as well as one more that at the present time I cannot remember.
hmmm.
no, its not coming to me. i think maybe it was a cover.

it was very very cheap too, expecially for iTunes, so it would be good to check out for anyone that hasn't done so.
probably someone posted about this already, but anyways have a looky if you're into iTunes and other such rip-offs.

Sign of the times.
Britney Spears official site is banned on our school internet for
'Adult Content,Entertainment,Drugs/Alcohol'

Pretty true, I guess. But also pretty sad.
I remember her teen idol days, vaguely.

ChiliMania

I really love this band.
Sometimes they're fun, sometimes they're serious, sometimes they're both and all of the time they are enjoyable to listen to. Most of the time, anyway. Can't say I'm the biggest fan of Tell Me Baby, but hey.
In the cases of most their albums, and certainly all their older albums, one can listen to the whole disc, without skipping to the few tracks released as singles.
I love the chili peppers, they have helped me through all kinds of life experiences - but I can kind of empathise with those who say the fire has gone out and etc etc. So I guess the answer to that is that these guys are mostly into their forties and they weren't gonna write psychadelic funk songs about sex forever.
I read recently a review of their latest album in All Music Guide (never never listen to that site, I swear they're full of shit) wihch was kind of positive about it all, but then went on to say that the band would be better without Anthony Kiedis. Which is an odd opinion, I think, because the chili peppers are about the energetics and the funky live performances and the general chilledness. And shirtlessness. And Anthony is kind of the guy who symbolises all that. They were never about a beautiful singing voice or beatles-esque harmonies.
But yeah, thats just my opinion, and I was barely born in the Bloodsugar years anyways.

Question: which are peoples favourite albums by the chilis? I'm not sure what mine might be, but probably not Stadium Arcadium, although Hump de Bump is a pretty awesome song, along with lots of other tracks on there.

Also: anyone here from Australia? I hail form Perth.
