I am officially obsessed with Roger Miller. I have been on a quest to discover/absorb his songs and his life for the past couple of years now, but now that I have the box set I can't stop listening. It's a sickness, just like my Big Lebowski addiction. Every time I listen to or read about Roger Miller, I discover some new little tid bit that amazes and delights me. I guess it's safer than heroin....

Yeah the box set is called King of the Road: The Genius of Roger Miller. There are other box sets, but this one is the best. All his hits are included, as well as some unreleased gems. Check it out for SURE!!!

yea, i once had that box set. it's a good one. i'll need to get it again. i also once had this live performance video of roger miller, that i taped off of TNN or something, about a year or so before he passed away. it was roger, lyle lovett and tanya tucker sitting around a table, swappin' stories, jokes 'n songs. good times! ps. lebowski rules.
