BECAUSE THE WEB MOSTLY SUCKS

Artist:

Something I haven't heard yet again. How exciting!I love new music, well new to myself ofcourse. Some of you I suspect are in the know, and now. Duty calls will finish post later..... Back in action, The Dears.... they were good, I was surprised that I liked them. Maybe it's a live thing? So when I buy the cd, I'll get back to you. Not too much to write on them, I was laying down with my hat over my head, in a sea of people just listening, and relaxing. The songs were heartfelt, melencholoy if you will. There was this tune " the death of all romance" that struck me.They had two chicks in the group, I'm partial to female accompanyment in a band, I think this has some psychological bearing as to why I enjoyed them. Short and sweet. I'm still in the process of reviewing their music on-line. Check um out , or if you like them, relate to me why.

I want to hear this band. Any band that attempts to sincerely carry on the work of Morrissey circa Smiths (or so I've heard?) is at least worth one shot to me.

Picked up the import of "Gang of Losers" today and it is light years beyond "No Cities Left". This album will go a long way in reducing the number of "obvious influence" comparisons. I understand those kind of references for this band, but this album is a credit to themselves and no one else.

"I Feel Deep" is a righteous track to start with. There are no clunkers here. Promise.
