MOG MOG

BECAUSE THE WEB MOSTLY SUCKS

So 2006 is drawing to a close now and there have been some really good gigs going on this year, here are my top 10. If anyone can tell me what month the gigs without dates where in please!

1) Iron Maiden - Sheffield Arena - December 2006 Amazing - just see my blog about it!

2) New Found Glory w/ Early November & Hit The Lights Notts - Rock City - Nov 2006 NFG always know how to put on a good show and this one was no exception. They where on top form, playing all the classics and the 'better' new songs! Support was mint as well!

3) Thursday - Camden Electic Ballroom - 2006 Couldn't pick fault with either of the Thursday gig i went to this year but in London they finished on 'Autobiograhpy of a Nation' so that gig wins hands down! I cant listen to 'At This Velocity' the same way after Geoff's story telling...

4) Death Cab For Cutie - Rock City - March 2006 I love Death Cab and seeing them doing 'We Look Like Giants' was worth the enterance fee alone!

5) Thrice vs Coheed & Cambria - Manchester Academy - Feb 2006 Coheed & Cambria, Thrice and Circa Survive, who could ask for more? Other than actually seeing Circa due to them changing the door times other than that a great gig!

6) Fall Out Boy w/ Gym Class Heroes - Leeds Met Uni - Feb 2006 I hate going to Leeds now after this gig but this gig was worth it. Nightmare of You where ace. Gym Class were brill, enjoyed them so much! FOB where on top form as ever!

7) Lightyear - First Floor Club Derby - 2006 You got love Lightyear, this was their second last gig! Hopefully they do the right thing and re-form..again!

8) Cave In w/ Pelican - Corporation - March 2006 Pelican where amazing, never really seen an instrumental band before. Cave In were amazing.

9) Rx Bandits - D'n'R Live - 2006 Well the gig was poorly organised and at first the sound quality was to put it bluntly shit but the Bandits pulled off another amazing gig, I love this band so much!

10) AFI - Rock City - October 2006 AFI three days after my 21st..amazing!
