I've deffenetly been neglecting my Jazz soul on mog.com.. and I simply can't do so any longer.. So here is my favourite Sax peice ever, performed by my second all time favourite person to be doing it (next to my sister who currently refuses to give me a copy of her playing misty).. anyway sibling issues aside, nobody famous does this better than Lou Donaldson and that's my opinion.

Mr Xhable didn't want to nag us with his incredible jazz and then he goes and lavishes some tight and soulful cuts on us. To wit, Mr Donaldson who played with Thelonious among others, Ms Vaughan who immortalised so many standards and Ms Fitzgerald - well Ms Fitzgerald is MISS Fitzgerald.
