If you don't know him already Dillinja is a very infuentual DJ from Brixton (With over 500 releases I think it's fair to say that - Wikipedia calls him prolific!), pumping out some drum & base for all you hard heads.
The Name Dillinja is also reused by him in an almost dyslexic fashion, as he also goes by, Dillinger. Among some other quite random choices "Capone", "Trinity".. "Cybotrone" etc.. Just to confuse. More info avalible on Myspace
More intrestingly here's a video of him messing about for 10 mins with some decks.

Crikey, the heavy dubs just knocked me off my buttocks... Now, will I sound like as dork if I tell you that I've never of Dillinja? Or just a philistine?
Thanks for continuing my musical education.
Things have sure changed since I was a working DJ. Self mixing on the fly Light shows Fog machines. In the day we just spun vinyl and taught people how to do the "Electric Slide." I still do weddings for friends and family but I stand in aw of these guys and gals.
Here's a pretty distinctive artist, Keziah Jones. He seems to have started life strangely enough in a very simmaler way to my father. Born in Lagos, Nigeria and shipped to England for his education at 8 years old. However that's where the simmilarity ends, at 13 years of age he began learning the piano, and at 16 started skipping school to busk on the streets of london with a guitar. And seems to have lived a rather intresting bohemian life since then.
Keziah has produced 6 rather unique albums and is currently rumoured to be working on his fifth with Karriem Riggins in LA.

My, my. You do know how to bring the modern soul/funk back to my memory. -- This cut is just pretty groovilicious (I have a very fond memory of a lascivious lass who would get funky on KJ) - Thanks for this

Haha, I _heart_ the 80s... Your video reminds me of Bill Bailey's "Love Song" encompassing all aspects of love: betrayal, hatred and depression.
just to add to the depression :p
