Alright that last post got me to listening to The Early November. I really love basically everything they did.
This song is just beautiful. The way the whole thing feels; the smoothness of the lyrics and the way the guitar in the background kind of just strums distinct and abstract sounds. It's soft and oil-painted, like a picture composed of many intricate strokes to produce something simple and attractive. It's easily overlooked as another picture on this record, but it's something more once you relaly go and listen to it. This song is a quiet bearing of the heart, naked and open but not standing out.
That's what I got anyways.
As always... rant, rave.
The song is "The Truth Is" by The Early November. It isnt uploading so im gonna post without it... which sucks, sorry.
My vision of this song would be a quiet drive through the country. Feet thrown hap-hazardly on the dashboard, windows down and music just softly playing. The air outside is refreshing and clean, and this trip is revolutionary because it makes everyone that was a part of it a little bit closer. The unspoken bond of people who have shared something beautiful.
The best picture i could find:

heh, looks a bit foreboding but the way you described it, i couldn't agree more that the song would fit nicely in that situation.
