A few moths ago a freind and I had a conversation about the song's that should never be played in public. I don't mean the bad ones. I'm talking about the ones that are so freaking sad that they can ruin your day. (or at least the next hour)
We tally'ed up our choices and then asked other people around us. I recived some pretty interesting opinions.
Now that I've discovered M.O.G. I want to hear from you.
List your top five (please dont play this in public) song's.
Off the top of my head I'd go with Damien Rice's Can't Take My Eyes Off You.
i can't do five. too painful.
the teenager in me says, 'I know Its Over' by the Smiths.

The Frogs - "(insert just about any of their song titles here"," Pretty much anything from this band does is offensive. (don't click if you are easily offended!).
The Eagles - Hotel California, because I never want to hear that song anywhere, ever again!
Harry Chapin - Cats in The Cradle
Gordon Lightfoot - The Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald
Rainbow Connection - Kermit the Frog (seriously. Listen to the words and try not to tear up.
Amazing Grace - by anyone who does it in the proper manner. very profound.

(very personal reasons.)
Low - Lullaby
(takes me to a place where no one can come with. can't bear listening to it and then interact with people afterwards.)
The Beatles / Nina Simone - Here Comes the Sun
(never fails to get me on the verge of tearing up, even in front of other people. George Harrison is so brilliant.)
Tori Amos - Me and a Gun
(it isn't her saddest, and not my favorite of hers either, but it really is disturbing. it never felt like a song to me but like a public confession. doubly disturbing.)
