...........Its hard to believe.
DM2 what is hard to believe?
Gawd, I love the Hollies. These early years, at least. IMHO, The Beatles had a negative impact on the Hollies. Their growth inspired the pretentious side of Graham Nash, resulting in him quitting the group and joining CSNY, turning out sometimes turgid hippie/art/political songs for the balance of his career. And the Hollies did not fare well (except commercially) without him either. I would've frozen them in 1964-1966 amber, turning out perfect pop songs.
....The passage of time.
dermahrk, thank for the comment. I had have always like Graham Nash even his post Hollies work. But I agree that 1964-1966 were the best years for The Hollies.
DM2, it does past by quickly doesn't it.
I'm with Mark in terms of the specific era Hollies work. No doubt, classic POP, but we part ways when it comes to Grahams solo and CSNY stuff. I've always liked his entire body of work.
Thanks for the Trip!
Hope that machine gets good milage:-)
inrumford, it only travel in time and mostly the 60's.
