I know I'm not the first, and I surely won't be the last... Is there one song that just gets you like no other? The saddest, most depressing song that just 'says it all, so that you (thank G-d) don't have to?'
This weekend, I have my i-tunes on shuffle while I write papers...what's ALL I'm doing ALL WEEKEND LONG.
And I start bawling like a baby out of no where...
Garfinkel's "Conditions For Successful Degradation Ceremonies" (topic of the paper 'du jour') is no reason to shed tears...
But Eddie V's voice and the lyrics of that song do it to me like to other can...

Honestly? "The Luckiest" by Ben Folds, and "Dreaming With a Broken Heart" by John Mayer. Pretty clean cut, but they just remind me of someone i lost.

my gawd. that song is awesome. there are a ton of songs that can really get to me, if played in the right moment. a few:
tori amos - somewhere over the rainbow pearl jam - long road tool - 10,000 days (wings part 2) almost anything by mazzy star winter - tori amos sinead o'connor - nothing compares 2 u ....tons of others i'm sure.
