This is another cool band I discovered unintentionally. Heather dragged me to see James Blunt at the Warfield in San Francisco and The Boy Least Likely To was his opener. What a delight to listen. There's only one way to describe this British outfit: happy shiny pop music. Think Partridge Family for the 21st century. How can you not smile when you hear a song entitled "I'm Glad I Hitched My Apple Wagon to Your Star"?
Here's the video for their single "Be Gentle With Me." I dare you to listen to it and stay perfectly still. I double dare ya.

before mog it was a little harder to find new bands to like. everytime i have seen Wilco they have a great opening band. (ok sometimes they were just good.) through them i was introduced to elf power and the Morning Jacket (i was late to them but i saw them open for Wilco the summer of 2005 and you could feel the audience really digging them...which is rare for an opening act.)
