Just checked out Zack Hexum do a late-night gig at the Rockit Room in San Francisco. I was kinda surprised - he had no band, just himself switching between electric and acoustic guitar. No tape, no drum machine. Just strings, his voice and his touching pop lyrics. He later played an awesome sax solo. Afterward, he signed my "Realistic Fantasy" EP. What a nice guy.
