   FluxCapacitor says I was blown away on hearing Ize of the World. One of the smartest, most subversive (and sadly forgotten) tunes of the year. I was digging the gymnastic guitar riffery and vocals so much, I didn't investigate the lyrics for weeks. Then I was blown away once more. "...A desk to organize A product to advertise A market to monopolize Movie stars you idolize Leaders to scandalize Enemies to neutralize No time to apologize Fury to tranquilize Weapons to synchronize Cities to vaporize..." For ages I'd thought "ize" was just their hip NYC spelling of "eyes"... ...but, hey, I live and learn!

   JJ O'Tanno says Loved Razorblade. brilliant. And there's nothing like a Pogues-style rant in the middle of a song (On the Otherside): "I hate them all, I hate them all, I hate myself for hating them, so I'll drink some more, I'll love them all, I'll drink even more, I'll hate them even more than I did before."
