MOG

SO, the story is I got an iPod for Christmas. One of the bigger ones. I've been living with ALL of my music in storage, with just a scant few on my iTunes. It had been about three or four months since I last touched my CDs, records and tapes. Now with the iPod I was determined to fish out my CDs from a MOUNTAIN of furniture, paintings, cookery reaching at its highest point 13 feet or so tall. Thanks to my extraordinary fella, his muscle and superior spacial reasoning skills, was able to recover my boxes of music. I don't know how much, but alot of it. Here I sit hour after hour importing my CDs on my computer. Stacks of boxes around me for which there is no room for in my little hovel of a living space. But MAN am I happy to have it here. When I had my own apartment, most of the CDs sat on a shelf, not being played. I took them for granted, just sitting around. Easily accessible at any time. Without having them for so long, and not being able to play, "Hybrid Moments" by the Misfits. Or even more difficult CDs friends have given me of their unreleased music. There was no way I could download it. Next big project would be to record all my LPs. Anyone ever use iMic? I imagine it would take months to record albums because you have to set levels and record them on real time. I'll be unstationary for the next few years and have no intention of being in a place that would facilitate music storage. I'd like to get all of it in one place. Any ideas?
