Artists You Should Know About

So, I had the craziest fucking birthday ever yesterday.

And I got a tattoo!

And I'm going to see Cursive and Against Me! this saturday.

And I haven't really heard any new music lately, but I'm going to pick up the new Sage Francis album today so I'll update on that in a couple days.

Here's a picture from my birthday:

Sounds like it was an awesome concert. I haven't seen Cursive in concert yet. I saw Bright Eyes in NYC last year, and they were amazing. The following summer we got to see Belle & Sebastian. They were awesome too!

Happy belated b-day!

I saw Bright Eyes at the Riviera theatre and it was fantastic. The crowd was horrible, though. But that didn't matter because the band built off of eachother's energy so the whole show was very fun to watch.

They played a good chunk of "Casadaga," "Gold Mine Gutted," "Spring Cleaning," "Road to Joy," and surprisingly, "The Calender Hung Itself."

For a light show, they had a big screen behind them that projected live images from a booth in the crowd of a guy painting and playing with flowers and making really cool images.

The ending "Road to Joy," was especially great. It was so good.

I'm going to see Bright Eyes next monday!

And Cassadaga is incredible!

I also have Neon Bble by the Arcade Fire now and it is so good. That song "Intervention" is going down as one of the best songs of this year.

I don't have alot to say now, so later.
