Your Prom Date......(and zombies!)

I’d say it’s spring here. I blew off work a bit early Saturday so I could do frightening amounts of laundry and clean the carport. While doing so I listened to the music Deathboy posted up for the masses to enjoy here. Beautiful Skies was the perfect song for being out in the spring weather noticing the trees preparing for their leaves and trying to convince myself I'm just going through the same kind of thing. Of course, I’ve had flowers in my yard since the snow storm in February (and those crazy conservatives say there is no global warming!). Although Let Me Show You matched my mental frame of reference more closely, especially since my cleaning rampage was an attempt to blow off the energy from the storms in head lately. It’s strange how events that aren’t that big of deal in the grand scheme of things can so completely change how one’s out look. Eh, I’m being rambly because I’m trying to resist the reality of Monday morning. Made even worse this week by the odd decision to speed up day light savings this year. Screwing the clock isn’t going to fix the weird weather!!! Anyway, go listen to the song below. I'm still more fond of the stuff where he sings, but I'm just like that..........................................................................................................................................................Oh, yeah…prom dates… I am deathly afraid of zombies.Since this is evidently turning out to be the year to confront fear, I plan to go to the Memphis Zombie walk if work permits. It will be May 25th downtown. I’m figuring the easiest way to do a zombie costume will be to pick out an easy character type costume and zombify it. I’ll probably do a beauty queen or a nun, which ever seems easiest. One of my friends said she’d do a stripper zombie or a teacher zombie. Haha. Except this is on a Friday, so I am truly worried work maybe unavoidable. I think it’d be absolutely wonderful if I could concieve of some way to pull off a Prom Queen Zombie effectively. Maybe then I’d finally stop talking about Prom.Zombies will walk the 901 and this is some artwork jamieslan did.
