It's curious how we find the music we love.. on this page, as an Old Guy I've been introduced to bands and musicians I would never have known about (thanks Lambcurry666 for the heads up on Aesop Rock).. well, I found a new inspiration - the checkout isle at Superstore Supermarket.. while waiting to pay for my milk and eggs, staring me in the eyes was Marvin Gaye - What's Going On.
So, never having actually heard the album, I picked it up for $9.99.. and, uh, perhaps an album I should have had, oh, 20 years ago.. incredible, particularly the prescient cut, "Mercy Mercy Me".. a song for our times or any times. If you haven't heard the album, I urge you to do so - pick it up or download it from I Tunes.. definitely worth the ten bucks :)

Still my all-time favourite album.

Love Marvin Gaye
I bought Here, My Dear in the cutouts and have been hooked ever since..

A great recommendation! Marvin Gaye is one of the most amazing vocalist I've ever heard.
I'd bet 'cha anything in another 30 years people will still be singing the praises of What's Going On.

When did 45 become old? I thought life begins at 40 :)
My Trusted MOGs
Well.. "older" then.. and certainly not in touch with much of the new music abounding as I once was :)
