Highly Scientific Musical Presidential Poll

Well.. it's interesting that the media seems all concerned about Bill Clinton's effect on Hillary as president - while I'm Canadian and as such am a somewhat dispationate observer of the current nomination process, the media wouldn't have dared to question Nancy Regan, who many considered the "puppet master" and other strong first wives.Anyhow.. I digress.. I would like to start an informal poll on who you DON'T support as President.. and to give your opinion, you have to suggest a song that you would find most "appropriate" as a theme song for who you consider to be your "anti-President".You know.. maybe, "I Like Drinking Alone" for Mitt Romney kind of thing..Let's see if we can get creative :)

    kat3260 says Hahaha I didn't put much thought into this, but Mitt Romney is probably my least favorite choice at the moment. Considering he's the former governor of Massachusetts...

    wdog says ..hahaha.. I never would have dreamed up that classic BeeGee's tune.. ok, so far, in the negative vote count.. Romney - -2 McCain - -1 Edwards - -1 (though sort of like kicking a guy when he's down) Huckabee - -1 ..Democrats are kicking ass in the early polls.. lol..

    hawaiianpunch says I definitely don't like Clinton for president only because legacies, no matter if you're Republican or Democrat or whatever, are a bad thing. The whole thing about this election is getting in new blood, new ideas, and new people to take the country in a new direction. Do I think Obama will do it? I don't think so. But if I had a gun to my head in the voting booth, I think I'd have to go with Barack.

    wdog says Sorry punch.. but your clip seems to have been zapped by youtube.. and in keeping with the republican campaign, this is a purely negative poll... so no positive votes count (sorry Mr. Obama) and the votes, to count, have to be accompanied by a song selection..

From my vantage point - I was just listening to Curtis Mayfield's "People Get Ready".. and while I'm somewhat ambivalent about who I would support were I given the opportunity, for my friends south of the border, I think that song would be a great precursor to whoever succeeds the current POTUS, particularly the lines; There ain't no room For the hopeless sinner Who would hurt all mankind just To save his own (can you say Halliburton?)
