The Wall Street Journal recently ran an article commenting on how many actual professional rock musicians actually get off on the "Guitar Hero" video game.
I haven't played it yet, but reviews of friends, including a buddy in a local band, are that it's addictive and fun as hell..
So - what's the skinny from Moggers? Is the intrusion of Rock & Roll into the videogame market in such a massive way good or bad for music generally.. I did notice that the set list for Guitar Hero III is not the Top 40 that you might expect, including Mauvais Garçon (by Naast), My Curse (by Killswitch Engage)and Holiday in Cambodia (by The Dead Kennedys).

My Trusted MOGs
Well, yes of course.. they're trying, but the royalty demands of such an iconic band are probably just a little outside the ability of Activision to afford.. it's one thing to cut a deal with the Rolling Stones and Aerosmith, but seriously.. Toenail Jimbone Trio? That would be dreaming I'm afraid :)
