MOG MOG

BECAUSE THE WEB MOSTLY SUCKS

most of my life, even when i was a kid, my dad would talk about the sixties, i always used to wish i could have been born earlier!.... ah i feel lke i missed the greatest years america ever saw in terms of freedom and music...

instead i find myself clining to movies like Almost Famous, Woodstock footage and my ever favorate style of music, Classic rock...

an for the record i think Tiny Dancer is one of my fav songs that when i hear it, i feel the sixties...

Pretty gorgeous album cover. I always like glancing at that one on vinyl racks.

Ah, the Sixties. The days before AIDS, 9/11, George Bush (both of them), and genetically modified soybeans....

But then again, there was Vietnam, riots of all kinds, violent revolutions, the assasinations of JFK, Martin Luther King, and Bobby Kennedy... and no Internet!

My favorite album! Yes, I would have loved to been around in the sixties, but my perfect decade would have been from 1966 till 1976. There was so many good things going on during this time period. I really love the psycadelic era with The Beatles, Cream, Jethro Tull, King Crimson, Jimi Hendrix, there's so many more great bands like that who started around then and made some of their best work during that time period. Of course I cannot forget Elton who started in 67. I wish I had a time machine.

There is nothing on this album that I Dislike. Razor Face and Rotten Peaches is outstanding, Holiday Inn and Indian Sunset are Great. As for Madman, Tiny and Levon...Just Super!!!
