if you're just surfing MOG an clicking random links an you get to this page, some of you will say 'van who? brown eyed girl guy?" oh my dearest mogger, let me introduce you to one of the worlds greatest composers.... ask someone to label his genre, and they'll sit there and ponder only to say, "welllll hes a mix of folk, jazz, pop, rock, acoustic... classic rock... i think...." thats b/c hes got such a beautiful talent of orchristrating music that can give an angel wings, and a cupid his bow and arrow...
If i where to lose all the music i had in the world, and all i had left was my van morrison albums... id still be a happy man....

"Sweet thing" is my favorite song. I'm sitting down and wondering what genre of music he is, he truly is a gifted man. Have you seen videos of him and Bob Dylan singin' songs on a roof. It should be on youtube. Thanks for the post!

Pop, rock, jazz, blues, alternative...whatever...I don't give a shit what its classified as because thats not what its all about. It's just the sensation you get from listening. Do you like it? Well, thats all that matters then. The only reason there are classifications is so that you can navigate through the record store easier by identifying the artist you're looking for with others that give a similar sensation.
