Well, I tried a couple times the other night with poor results to test out the upgraded MOG with a couple posts. Been reading a few other peoples remarks and maybe figured a thing or two out and gonna give it another spin.
Now what to post... OK I've posted about this band a couple other times, but why not again. They're great, my new favorite "new" band, The Dollyrots, a punk/pop trio out of LA who are now signed on Joan Jet's Blackheart label. This is new music with real balls (yes, I know, balls and female lead signer may seem oxymoronic to some, but have them this band does), This cut here is from their first album 2004's Eat My Heart Out.
Well, *&#!$, how long does it take to "process" an uploaded file? Seems like it should be less than 15 minutes - third time now this has hung up on me here! WTF, everything seemed to go well until point message you file has been attached to your post message would usually come up and I get this "Processing uploaded file... please wait" message. re-booted browser between attemped, relogged in (another problem I've been having, MOG no longer seems to provide a way for my machine to log me in automatically).
Well hey, try 4 worked. Let MOG try to make it a yellow button first, then used replace button and it worked (had learned to avoid doing this to prevent freeze-up before)
How about a picture? Hey first try OK.
So, how 'bout a video... Another great tune from their first album... New College
Guess, that worked, used the HTML insert thingy, which I don't really get yet, preview shows box "video no longer available", but then click on it and it works? And in editor just show up as big pink empty squares with a tiny flash player logo in middle? Let try one old fashioned paste embed code into post method...
Also, from the first album, Kick Me to the Curb
Hum... previews as a blank box? Let's do it the new way then...
Hum, this new HTML insert thingy seems to want URL's instead of embed codes... Making an old dog learn new tricks here...
well, last but not least let's try an old style mog box for the button above...
Well, #%@#, again- seen others pulling it off but 'bout 10 tries and several approachs and best i get is what you see above, no below, as seems I also lose all text after trying to insert MOG box -- anybody, a little help here!

I tried out the thingy that looks like a film strip and couldn't get anywhere with it either. Dropping the embed code seemed to still work so I did that. I haven't been able to upload songs yet, but I'll give it another shot tonight. I was hoping all this stuff would've been worked out by now, hopefully soon.

The Dollytrots are infectiously poppy, in a punky raw way. The singer does have cojones, I agree. Very enjoyable and quite nice for kickstarting a sunny Sunday morning in LDN. Thanks, Dutch.
PS: Embed codes work just fine for me. To display the old MOG player, you may also try and use this code: here

Bartleby - Thanks for trying to help with the MOG box code, unfortunately link doesn't work for me, would appreciate it greatly if you could give it another go.
Embed codes still whack out for me. It's weird how different people seem to be having different problems, odd lack of consistency with issues going on.
Glad you liked the Dollyrots!
