Hey hey, my my
Rock and roll can never die
There's more to the picture
Than meets the eye.
Hey hey, my my. (as Neil Young put it)
.
Seems there was some griping around the MOG last night about the "death" of the rock scene. Here a blast from the recent present to prove there still good rock going on...
.
Charley Rogulewski's post ( http://mog.com/Charley_Rogulewski/blog_post/154884 ) a week ago turned me onto this band. I just got a CD and there's a lot to like. This is from their second album which was recorded on Joan Jets Blackheart label. At times reminds me of old Runaway's stuff (Joan's band from wayback) only pumped up and de-glossed.

My Trusted MOGs
I'll shout it from the mountain top. There's tons of great music being made all over the world, 24/7. The old ways are dead but walking squawking tryin' to convince themselves they're relevant. The labels and media giants are morphing as we speak. They're losing the pulse and they know it. New Bands & artists are making the new rules, the new paradigm. Everything is becoming.

BTW: Great tune.

must say I dooooo like this song
My Trusted MOGs
Another great track. You are really on to something with the Dollyrots. For some reason, when it comes to harder rock, I really prefer the female bands.
