The Best Unknown Guitarist in the World - Second in a Series

Artist:

Album:

Track:Running Out
Roy Buchanan
2nd in a series. See my first Roy post for more info. and a fistfull of links! This song has Roy playing electric guitar, his much more typical approach than the acoustical work in the song on my first post.

The title of this album, A street Called Straight, is a refference to Roy's substance abuse issues and his attempts at that time to beat them.

Damn if Roy could make that telecaster sing
Thanks for keeping his legacy alive
EXCELLENT
Yeah, ??Thats?? how its done!
another wonderfull track
waydutch how did you get the old mog player?
I only own one of Roy's albums, and may need to correct that. I forget if Roy sang on his albums. I assume he did and this is him on lead vocals as well as blistering lead.
Mark - yeah another reason to get myself set up to digitallize my vinyl, I'm working from just one complation CD here (mid career), so any help, especially from his When a Guitar Sings the Blues album, would be appreciated. He stated out mostly just playing, then a few albums in started to sing as well, and yes it is him singing here.
Oceanrain - I'll post the code I use here - you'll have to add a < in front of it and a > behind it, took those off so it doesn't come out here as a player. Note the two places with the series of capital X's, take the 11 character string you get when you upload a track (the stuff between the ~'S, minus .mp3) add replace the Capital X's with the 11 character string being careful not to add any spaces, lose any .'s etc. -- You now have a code to paste in using the HTML inserting button. Test 'em in preview mode, if done right should play there. Tags from originial upload should show in player, but haven't been showing in preview often for me lately. Good luck with it, please ask for more complete instruction if this doesn't work for you.
