(from my blog at
pulverradio.com)Over the weekend, while I was cramming all my worldly posessions into a late 90's model Mercury Sable and driving back and forth from my new home in Brooklyn, an email regarding
this article in Reuters quietly arrived and patiently waited in my inbox for me to plug back in. I've been shouting
Jaymay's name from the digital mountaintops for a while now so if you've ever been to this site before (please and thank you) you know who she is. But there's always more to know, and the piece (probably written by a real, live journalist) is a nice peek into the world of the independent-by-choice musician in this day and age.Jaymay has been locked away in some beach house recording music, and for the moment she shall remain in that state. Until we're allowed to hear what she's been up to, the
Sea Green, See Blue EP should do fine to tide us over. If you're in Colorado, you might want to check her out at this thing, which appears to be the only performance she has scheduled at the moment:
