MOG MOG

BECAUSE THE WEB MOSTLY SUCKS

Album: Bridges
Track: Under The Hammer
(37)

Ah Friday. The end of a really long week for some, the start of things for others. Today I proffer up this selection. Hasn't been cut to CD yet and not really sure why, but it certainly fits for today, I think. Pertinent and such. This is probably the most continuously "funk" styled song on the album, but it is a good album if you happen to come across it. Holla.

"There is a revolution going on in the world. We are very much a part of it and have a great deal to contribute to the force and direction of this revolution. There are many fronts within this struggle, many far flung outposts geographically isolated and distant from our mainstreams of communication. But everyone who struggles for a better life for oppressed people is an ally who could use any symbol of our concern and solidarity." —Gil Scott-Heron, from the liner notes to Bridges
