I'm not a music snob. I'll listen to just about anything. But it's not the music that made me go to the 30 Seconds to Mars show last week. It's the fact that I have had a crush on Jordan Catalano since high school(ish). Not so much Jared Leto himself, but Jordan Catalano. The way he'd lean back against the locker with his eyes closed. Or when Rayanne got stage fright and Jordan started singing I Wanna Be Sedated.A few months ago, I happened to see the video for The Kill. It wasn't Jared Leto singing, it was Jordan Catalano. And he was singing directly to me. So I checked out the tour dates, and got tix to see the show.What a letdown.The music was pretty good. It was nice being in his presence. But it just wasn't as thrilling as it should have been. Could have been that the whole thing seemed to be geared to girls half my age. Maybe I would have felt better if I had gotten right up front so that I could touch him. But I held back - didn't want to geek out in front of the date-dude. But at least I can die saying I saw Jordan Catalano.
