MOG MOG

BECAUSE THE WEB MOSTLY SUCKS

Listening to Pills n Thrills is like stepping back into the awkward days of high school. I can't even list the plethora of bands who helped me through those teenage years. They helped define who I am. The Happy Mondays were one of those bands that expanded my taste for modern music. So if you want to think back at all the crushes you had, or how that bully never stopped messing with you...than this song is a shout-out to all of you who want to bring back the goods of the awkward years.

Isn't it funny that as a teenager I could have a pre-disposed opinion on a band like The Happy Mondays, without ever hearing them. Some how the words "dance" or "synthesizer" (both of which were no no's to me in my hair metal liking, self induced, myopia). I wrote them off for years, until I saw "24 Horur Party People" (in which I wasn't terribly familiar with any of the bands, but found it one of the best R n' R movies ever) and (sadly) still have yet to give them a proper listen. Thanks for the post!

I totally agree...Steve Coogan is the movie. It is a great bit of history. And where is Shaun Ryder these days?

That's him, the "Head".

As to the Happy Monday's thanks for the reminder, I will have to give them a listen today.
