MOG MOG

BECAUSE THE WEB MOSTLY SUCKS

Artist:
Track: This Charming Man - (live)
(143)

I had the chance to find someone who was willing to give me part of their bootleg Smiths mp3's. The collection included about 40 some shows from 1983 - 1986. This particular recording is one of the better quality mixes. Most of the recordings were never that great to begin with, but there are a few shows where someone was able to get very good recordings. I will be doing a series of Smiths bootlegs because they are my favorite band...ever!

Cool. Do you have the July 1983 show from the Hacienda in Manchester? That's very well recorded, too.

You lucky sod :) Well, it doesn't matter so much that some recordings aren't very good, it's something worth having, especially if you love The Smiths so much (they truly are wonderful).

Here is a link to Colin Meloy sings Morrissey. All acoustic and free...just in case it is something you are into.

Yup, that's the Hacienda show. I like it a lot. The Meloy thing worked better on stage than on that EP; it's kind of boring just to listen to.
