WHERE MUSIC LISTENS TO YOU

Question for all you moggers!!! Job related!

Posted over 2 years ago
I'll do a concert review when I upload all the pictures. I am wiped out!!! Got home late and had to get up early to come into work. Maybe I should get a job where going to shows, writing reviews, and taking photos IS my job. How can that even be called work?I do have a question for all you moggers. What do you do for work? Occupation? This should be ridiculously interesting. And for the musical portion of this mog...TRAS.

  4. annieander says I live the exciting life of a bookkeeper. Actually it is dull and routine, but I am good at it. Other parts of my job include financial analysis, budgets, business management. The biggest draw about my job...total commute time 10 minutes...I live and work in the island city of Alameda. Here are my past jobs...General Manager of a Coffee Roastery. I loved that industry and miss it everyday. Did you know that coffee is the second largest commodity in the world next to oil. From the grower - picker - packer - shipper - broker - roaster - consumer...no other commodity touches as many physical hands around the world. General Manager of 4 Bagel shops in Berkeley. Best quote from that job...When I told my brother-in-law in Scotland what I was doing...he listened intently then asked "What's a bagel?"

  20. warrenmusic says Sounds like everyone is unemployed, at least in the area they consider they are most passionate about. Hahaha... that's the world we live in. I am teaching private music lessons, and doing it full-time. I have close to 30 students, some in studios where they take a cut, and some on my own where I travel to the students' homes. It doesn't feel like a real job sometimes. It's not enough, creatively speaking, tho...

Up until a month ago I was freelancing as a 3D drafter/modeler working mainly with furniture designs and interior spaces, currently (sadly) loving son to elderly/sickly parents preparing them for a move into better living arrangements. Afterwards I'll be that drunk at the end of the bar for a couple of weeks then I hope to start up an architectural and Interiors photography business, with a little screen writing thrown in for good measure. Anybody want to buy a 4bdrm, 3 bth home, 2 flrs w/finished bsmnt situated on a half acre of park like property. In the Top 10 school districts nation wide ?. Drop me a note!
