SOUNDS OF FUTURE PAST AND PRESENT PERFECT

Logh - Forest Eyes

Posted over 2 years ago
This is my favorite song off the album "North". Logh once again reinvents themselves as we hear the intimate side of their shoegaze/indie act. They do less tinkering than I've ever heard. The entire album shifts into a whole new songwriting gear and it appears these Swedes are pining for a place for the everyday music goer. Don't get me wrong, I am not calling them sell-outs of any kind. Logh? Sell-outs??? Hell no!!! I will say that "North" is more cohesive material and less abstract than their previous work. It's more beautiful than mysterious. So in other words it doesn't fight you to sit and really listen. I've seen a change in their songwriting with a core of talent that still shines through bright, they are focused. They impress.
