This is a radio performance John Darnielle did a little while back (forgive me, I forget for which station), but this is a fantastic idea. Terry Gross of Fresh Air has a segment where she asks musicians to redeem songs, such as an alt-country artist belting out ABBA's "Dancing Queen".
