Best news in a long time:
Rhythm Corps is reuniting (not that they actually broke up) to play a show at the Royal Oak Music Theatre on December 22nd.
For an old fogey like me who must have seen them play bars around Detroit 100 times during the 80s and watch them have their brief MTV success with Common Ground, this is a great holiday present.
A band truly ahead of their time.
I'm looking forward to it.

I can't imagine the Internet with out internet radio stations. The stations broadcast by SomaFM and Monkey Radio feature some of the most eclectic and enjoyable programming around. I've tuned into numerous other stations over the years and have always come away with new artists to discover.
The fact that new legislation threatens to raise the royalty rates paid by internet radio stations beyond their means and at a higher rate than other type of radio seems grossly unfair.

Sorry if this isn't the most eloquent post ever, I just wanted to get the links out.

If there was ever an album made to be listened to in the bedroom - this might be it - Bedroom Walls - All Good Dreamers Pass This Way.
Well, maybe not quite perfect for that activity. But for lights out, permeate the room with relaxing sound and vocals, forget about everything else, drift away in the dark enjoyment, this gets my current vote.
