Also released on DVD... which I saw over the T-Day break. A must see for any Utopia, and of course, Todd Rundgren fan. Fairly low production value on stage, but the video is crystal clear, and the bands performance speaks for itself. The foursome is super tight, as usual, and the very respectful delivery of "Hiroshima" to a standing, and awe struck Tokyo crowd, is poignant and flawless. Only wish they had an Extras section on the DVD... otherwise 4 stars. A live album was also released on Rhino in '93.

With your glowing recommendation, I'm not walking, I'm running to Netflix to see what I can see.
...
I'm back. They have it.
Have you seen "Utopia: Live in Columbus, Ohio, 1980"? Looks enticing:
"Recorded live in Columbus, Ohio, in 1980, this electrifying set from Todd Rundgren and Utopia is largely culled from the albums "Adventures in Utopia," "Oops! Wrong Planet," "Hermit of Mink Hollow," "Back to the Bars," "Something/Anything," "A Wizard, A True Star" and "RA." A whopping total of 29 songs are featured, displaying the band's awesome power -- and sheer, tireless drive."

Vanatta, you sent me to Netflix as well, and I found 4 Utopia live videos, plus they now have the Glenn Tillbrook (Squeeze) DVD. I own that CD, but was unaware of the existence of a DVD of Utopia. You da man! (or insert otherwise hopelessly outdated black slang here....)

AA Coppertop: Haven't seen the live DVD from 1980, but I will definitely check it out. Thanks!
dermahrk: Thanks for the kind words, and glad I could be of assistance. Cheers. I also enjoyed "One for the Road" about Tilbrook... good stuff.

Thanks Girlcrawl. Netflix is bringing me Rundgren in Japan, probably today - and report back on that as well.
