All this Casiotone talk makes me seem obsessed, and frankly I currently am.
My predicament is this: what with school ending for the summer, hating where I live, and having a low likelihood of getting into any colleges I actually want to go to, living as this song describes is getting very attractive. I am not being sarcastic. If I abandon the conventional route now, I can:
-be invincible & boundless -drink too much -curse my hometown -sleep til noon -tattoo things that I believe
Oh Owen Ashworth, why must you tempt me so? I know this song is meant as a cautionary tale of sorts, and I could never actually do this, but it seems ohsoverynice. Anyone with me here?
-Z.

My Trusted MOGs
Get a good night's sleep so you can get up early tomorrow morning. Take a tour of your oh-so-too-familiar town and imagine yourself as a tourist from, say, Japan. Still got the blues? Drop by your local hospital's long term care wing and talk to people who lived through 1929-to now to learn what real courage life requires. Still want to "embrace the dark"? Talk to your minister/priest/spiritual guide, and you may find someone who needs YOU...as much as you need them. The glass of life can be half full or half empty...it's all in what you make of it. (My water bottle is definitely half full, perfect for Summer.)

Top track!
I've had that lost feeling a few times in the past. Wahiawa786 speaks wisely! If you did what he says and you find you really do hate it where you are then you have taken the first step . . . it's good to know what you don't want. From there you can start to move forward. Oh, and by the way, life can have a habit of pushing you down new avenues when you really want it too.
Good luck!!
