Magic Christian rocked the Wireless Festival main stage, opening for Counting Crows and The Goo Goo Dolls.

Great song! I have never even heard of this band before......the lead singer sounds a bit like Roger Daltrey to me (which is a good thing). Also, "back in the day", I loved the Plimsouls and, of course, Blondie. I'm impressed by the rest of the line up (opening acts?). Anyway, wish I could go!

Happy to hear you 1st heard Magic Christian from this post, a bit of alright I turned someone cool on to a working band,
a well-kept secret that more longtime fans of the Plimsouls, Blondie and Groovies would dig but aren't aware of...
yet!
Paulie's got his "yeah - yeahs" down pat.
At times he does sound like Daltry, you bet!
He'll take that as a compliment!
It's also good when Cyril sings that worldly-wise harmony as he does on some of the other newest songs - "In Your Arms" and "Come And Go".
Sorry I can't upload more streams from Magic Christian's Evolver, Cyril wants to save a few surprises for people who eventually get the 10-song Evolver album.
A couple of their songs besides the Who cover he allowed to me to upload (to stream only) have been available on the MC site to download free,

But the final mix on Evolver makes every track sizzle and pop, even listeners already familiar with some of the tunes will notice the expanded mastering sounds a whole lot better!
