Could be these chaps learned chops from Dave Clark Five absorption in 1964, and then something definitely happened on the way to 1967.
The lyrics are average for pop psych '66. It's the guitar and organ solo fused to the crazed beat that I like about this.
The Groundhogs, Felix and several hard-rocking freakbeat groups have remastered tracks on this comp, the possible best of 3 vols.
And now avail. again on a recent import 3 seperate cd reissue of the Perfumed Garden series, similar stuff as Rubble the series or Nuggets II box set)
I don't agree with Turnmeondeadman.com about this one, rating wise.
