MOG MOG

BECAUSE THE WEB MOSTLY SUCKS

Artist:
Album: Groovin' Round The World
Track: American Soul Spiders
(11)

"American Soul Spiders" by The Jack Saints is a cover in name only, best appreciated as a pre-reverent interpretative stomp, loosely based on an obscure 15 minute jam that got the title almost by error on a Flamin Groovies French import Studio '70 (Eva-12045 1984).

It gets phased at around 2 mins. in, wait for it!

My song, band, Mog-info lists with MOG-o-Matic updates on the side bars are lately edit-proof!

Old edits come back, new changes don't take, MOG-o-erratic info transmitted, stuck on stupid!

MOG brains are working feverishly to correct old problems, while the other half of the staff is working feverishly to create new ones. And so it goes. Not enough of an FG fan (I own one best-of) to recognize what's being covered here, but it doesn't sound like it was one of their best.

You might like this FG cover from the same tribute album, it's one of their Byrdsy numbers, "I Can't Hide" as done by The Fastbacks...
