Lisa Hartman was born in Houston, Texas. She recorded four albums before marrying singer Clint Black. Here is one song from her last album. I hope you enjoy her voice as much as I do.

I am dedicating this song sung by the late Karen Carpenter, to the legendary Vikki Carr on the eve of her New Year's Eve concert at the Majestic Theatre in San Antonio, Texas. Knock 'em dead, Vikki !

Hi txboots! Great rendition! Love Karen's pipes! I always felt that she would have become another Rosemary Clooney! See yah! musikfriend!
wonderful!. a wonderful voice for another wonderful voice. Sleezyjo
I wasn't familiar with this song with Karen's wonderful vocal, and it was nice to discover it here. And my compliments on the Vikki Carr material to which your MOG is devoted. I wrote some comedy material for Ms. Carr many years ago at an event in Hollywood honoring comedian Tom Dreesen, with whom she had worked. She is a great performer. Thanks, Monty Aidem
