   ookpik says I love Destroyer. Love love love. My favourite is probably the _Streethawk_ album, but I can't get enough of those god damn lyrics, and Mr. Bejar's enunciation. bq. screw... on the chemical floors of the dance world and you'll see why I'll always be a dancer! It's quite possible that if you're not interested in creating cathartic moments for the audience, both you and your audience are fucked, to which I say, "Oh well." No one appreciates a professional anymore. Everyone's a mystic. Which is why I take drunk Jim over acid Jim-- the argument all roads eventually lead to. Dan Bejar is part of several other bands too-- if you haven't checked out The New Pornographers or Swan Lake, they're worth investigating.

   Amy Honey says i know Dan, he's a super rad guy. and yup, very awkward on stage. i played in Toronto with him once and he could barely look at the audience... it was one of his very first solo shows though so maybe the raw nerves were understandable...
