... it's so beautiful.
I know it's not new news anymore, but it can't hurt to mention again. This album the the perfect watch-the-summer-sun-dip-just-below-the-horizon soundtrack.

Perhaps it's because I'm so indecisive that my musical tastes are all over the map...
I thought I'd write this post because the songs might have been missed by people who weren't Stars fans.
The album, 'Do You Trust Your Friends' was a compilation of remixes and covers of Stars songs by (I think) all-Canadian acts. While the Stars are ultra-pop gooey-goodness, these versions of their songs are quite a range.
Being a fan of the Junior Boys anyways, I thought I'd pick their remix to post. To me it was a stand-out on the album (reminiscent of the Swedish band the Knife who I also love) though there are also some ones I'd love to stand back from. But hey, to each his own, that's the point of getting people to re-work songs isn't it? To get hear someone else's personal taste/opinion?

Nice tune. I just saw The Album Leaf about a month ago. I was mainly there to see one of the opening bands though. (Young Galaxy) However I have followed The Album Leaf since Jimmy left Tristeza and started out on his own. I am so so on his music overall. On all the cds I have heard I tend to love about half of the songs and then just do not get the other half. This song is bangin though.
Gee we wish we were the Beatles, Part 5,978.
Uh, Beatles? I'm not hearing what you're hearing...
