My family was just recently in for a visit and my Dad couldn't have been more excited to show me his new MP3 Player. He left it behind with a whole list of requested music he'd like to have on it. I was actually quite impressed with his list (I left him with liner notes while I was at work one day). Chili Peppers. The Chemical Brothers. The Strokes. Jet. Bjork. Beastie Boys.
It really made me take time out to reflect on how cool it was that he was doing things and learning about things that I was interested in - so we could spend more time together. It really made my heart smile. He's always been into music, I just think it's extra cool that he still is.
So, it's 3 o'clock in the morning and I've been at it for 3 1/2 hours. Do I have a problem? It's been so awesome to hear these albums I haven't heard in awhile, though. U2 - The Unforgettable Fire. Breaks my heart all over again.

My Trusted MOGs
It's great that you and your father can share music; great way to bond, and learn to further appreciate one another - that U2 song does break hearts. Beautiful post.
