...now that the clocks have been turned ahead one hour. I don't mind when we fall backward but springing forward makes us lose an hour of sleep and for someone like me who is consistently sleep-deprived, this is the last thing I need.Besides, as I look out my window at the serious amount of snow left behind by yesterday's blizzard, I don't think we'll be looking at spring for a while.Trying to find songs that spoke to the issue of time; this was closest to hand.Sandy Denny was a well-regarded figure in Britain's folk-rock movement of the late 60s/early 70s. She was probably best known for her work with both Fotheringay and Fairport Convention and she was also known for her vocals on the "Battle of Evermore" from Led Zeppelin IV. Sadly, her time on earth was far too short. She died of a brain hemmorhage after falling down a flight of stairs at the age of 31.This is one of her signature tunes recorded with Fairport Convention, "Who Knows Where the Time Goes".I just want my hour back...
