I woke up this morning with a severe hangover. I opened a bottle of wine at lunch yesterday and then felt obligated to finish it. It was a French Beaujolais after all.

Later, I met a friend for dinner and drinks, bien sur, before hooking up with friends at a bar. God knows what time I stumbled into bed last night, but I do know I woke up too early this morning - like one day too early.

My head hurts, so I'm only going to listen to the softer side of music this morning before I set out to meet a friend for my hangover cure - Japanese chicken ramen soup. So healthy.

It's fortunate that I'd already booked the day off, hoping for a beach holiday - ha! Look at the weather here. Low hanging clouds, cool and wet - and this is the middle of summer. I want a refund!
