I've recently been getting back into Sufjan Stevens. His relaxing, often Christianity-inspired music sort of brings my mindset back to warmer weather... when I first started to get into him last summer. Makes me excited for this summer, for graduation, and for my life to start. But nostalgic at the same time. This is a song that I've always been fond of... but nobody else seemed to like. It's really a nostalgic song. I love that bridge between the two verses toward the beginning of the song. Really makes me think of travelling back in time, to a simpler time....Anyway, I highly recommend you check this guy out if you haven't already. Musically he is pretty brilliant. And, you atheists, don't worry, his Christian themes can be easily ignored.
